South Asian Literature & Art Festival

The South Asian Literature and Art (SALA) Festival showcases contemporary reflections of literature and arts from the sub-continent and its diaspora. 

 

SALA  is a path-breaking, multi-disciplinary one of its kind event in the Bay Area. Our platform sparks an enlightened, erudite, and immersive engagement on South Asian literature and the arts. This expertly curated event is a rich representation of South-Asian culture to a broader Bay Area audience. 

 

Over two days, with over 24 panel discussions on various topics, our contemporary South Asian speakers present thought provoking ideas. Our unique combination of highly acclaimed and emerging authors present a nuanced and evolving perspective on South Asian literature, art, culture, social issues and epicurean delights. .
